still trouble....92 sentra

I posted a few posts ago....i am still expeiriencing troubles with the car lurching and chugging when i reach a certain rpm.the car idles fine.I took a spark plug out and it looks good other than black sutting stuff which i believe being due to the missing of the engine.I thought it might be lack of fuel so i changed the fuel filter...to no avail.I took the car to a mechanic but his code reader would not hook up to my car.He also thought it to be a starving of fuel so i later got my wife to rev the car up till it began to hesitate and poured fuel into the engine...which made the engine flood..so starving of fuel is not an issue here in my opinion.Does anyone else have any ideas.Where is my ECM situated on this 92 Sentra?...thanks

i believe the ecm is by the passenger's feet, but sometimes its under the center dash console. theres a way to check the ecm for codes, but since you have obd1, theres no scanner for it. i dont for sure know the process but maybe someone else here does...
