abs problems with a 93 s10 blazer
I have a 93 blazer and am having a issue with the abs. Occasionally the brakes lock and make a loud noise. When it does this it will try to pull to one side or the other, but if i pump the brake pedal sometimes it goes away. also for the first time the brakes locked up complete and i had no brakes until i pumped the pedal. when this happens i don't have a soft pedal it is impossible to push the pedal down at all. also my front pads are squealing, am in process of changing them. any ideas what may be causing this?

Re: abs problems with a 93 s10 blazer
Welcome to AF. We have a forum for this issue below in the S-10 section. For now, have it scanned on an abs function scanner for codes. Although this does not sound like it may be an abs issue. Does the light come on?

Are you applying brakes when the lock-up occurs or are they locking up on their own?
