Civic 1.6i ES - Alarm/beeps goes off

The alarm tend to go off at times when I'm driving or sometimes few minutes after starting the engine. No lights or indication I can see, I just hear the demn thing. It beeps 5-6 times and then stops itself. It's not too loud, but makes enough sound to get everyone's attention inside vehicle.

Anyone knows what's going on?? Anyway of dealing with this alarm problem..?

Also, is there anyway of verifying if Cambelt has been changed. Many thanks.

p.s. There's a keyless entry but I am not aware of any fitted alarm.. car came with immobiliser.
