98 grand cherokee dieing...
I have the 4.0L and everytime I giver her gas in drive she will die. if I baby her she will drive everywere. it caused the service engine soon light to come on, but it went off. When she dies its doesnt sputter out, just dies. I can throw her in nutral, start her back up and she goes again.
if she is in park or nutral I can rev her up till her hearts content no issues. just when she is driving. |

Re: 98 grand cherokee dieing...
If you've done repair work on her maybe you did'nt totally tighten a ground that will make it die, or fuel pump going out because when it's gassed presure is put on pump and it has to work harder.

Re: 98 grand cherokee dieing...
Have you been able to pull any codes? Maybe digital by turning key forward 3x, or by doing that and watching the check engine light count the number of times it blinks.
