boost problem.

i have a 92 tsi with a evo 16g turbo with a boost controller, autometer boost gauge. and i was wondering why my boost will not go over 10 psi even when the controller is turned up all the way and i dont think there is any leaks... it is so confusing me.. i dont get fuel cut either..

Re: boost problem.

This should be under the subforum "Problem Diagnosis"... I am going to say that you need to check your vacuum lines. I think one has popped off, and this will limit you to stock boost. I had this happen to me awhile back, I can't remember which vac line exactly, but I think any of them will do it...

Re: boost problem.

OK i done a boost leak test and i got air flowing threw my pcv (it is new) and that is about the only leak that is left to make any problems... is there any way to just block off the hole into the manifold and put a filter on the pcv? i feel stupid a lot sry guys.
