Tail light
Just give it good pull straight back towards you once you have the screws out. It's held at the bottom with grommet or whatever you call it.

Hey I just changed the break light in my 2002 Xterra and had to pull really hard on the break light cover to remove it. There are two plugs that just pop off to get the lense cover off when you pull it straight back. Just remove the two apparent screws and pull the whole cover back. $5 bucks for the light is much better than the dealer for $40. Pull it straight back and it won't break.

Re: help me change the tail light, please!
Don't you mean "pull it straight back and it won't brake" instead?
Oh, and this thread hadn't seen activity since 10/2002... Pet peeves... Brent |
