What's with it seeming like everyone who buys a body kit has big problems with it?

i'm about ot buy a kit for my 2003, but i'm getting scared cause every post about body kits seems like none of them fit right and it costs an arm and a leg to get them to look ok...ive got about $1500 available for the entire ordeal, and i was thinking about either a blitz kit or a SS kit... every time i read about kits tho it seems like they always have fitment problems and you have to pay huge amounts to a custom shop to get them to fit. any thoughts on this? anything pertaining to body kit work would be appriciated
