Question Gears And Carrier

i just bought richmond 3.73 and a auburn limited slip carrier and i just found out today from some guys that i will prob break this carrier too that it is weaker than GM's carriers... does anyone know anything about these cause i just dropped 800 dollars on all this shit and the last thing that i want it to happen is for it to break!?!?!?!

The auburn lsd is a really good carrier for the money. WAY, WAY better than the factory G80 (go to any off-road site, they will tell you the same as follows) which is a ticking time bomb.... I have spent a ton of time on off road (and I mean serious off road websites) and they have nothing but good things to say about the Auburn LSD. As a matter of fact, the guy I buy all of my stuff through sold me on the Auburn LSD over the Detroit and such, for the money at least

I had an auburn in my old 88 full size jimmy. It had 33 12.50's and 4.10's and the clutch plates were shot in under a year. Might have had something to do with the shorter wheel base but still.
