squeeeeckie windows

dearest know it alls -
when the front windows on the mustang go up or down they squeeck like the dickens. anyone conquered this problem yet? where to grease and what grease to use?

depending on what part the window it is binding on, if it is just the rubber that is visible when the window is dow you can use some armor all and that should help out ultil they dry out again, and you can repeat that. The armor all is also going to help the rubber last longer.

good thoughts, but it is metal on metal action (the third best kind of action behind man on girl, followed by of course girl on girl) i sprayed some silicon machine lubricant all over the actuator and lifting apparatus. haven't rolled down the windows yet.

self follow up: the silicone helped out a lot, but the screech still exists on an audible level. maybe i'll try working it in a little more from other angles to see if i can itch the spot.
