crank position sensor

91 lumina w/ 3.1 engine, need advise as to best way to find/see the cps, have tilted engine forward and looked at back of engine and cannot find/see it. it it easier to find from above or below. i believe it is suppose to be center/passenger side, back side of engine.

would it be above or below the line of spark plugs?

About even with the crank centerline, r/s of rear of engine .
