My ford expedition has started to shake real bad and loses power, any suggestions as to the problem??

I would start with monitoring fuel pressure with a gauge attatched to the fuel rail.

How do you get the code for you truck without paying. Is there a default code in the car manual?

You can go to any auto parts chain store like AutoZone and get the CEL checked for free. They will tell you what code comes up.
As far as the shaking, what engine is it? Mileage? When does the shaking start?

My 1998 started doing the same thing. Plugs and two new coils took care of it. Couldn't get #4 plug out but when removing the coil, the coil fell apart so hopefully that was the problem. Running good for now.
