Post Wiper motor/linkage Removal/Replace 99+ Grand Am

- First open the hood.
- Then pop off the caps over the wiper arm nuts, indicated by the yello arrows.

- Next disconnect the washer fluid lines, shown with blu arrows.
- Then remove the wiper arm nuts 13mm , lift wiper off the glass to releave the pressure on the shaft, lift arm.
* You may need to pry under the wiper arm by the shaft to remove the wiper arm(s) and placing something under the pry tool to protect the cowl is recomended.
- Remove the push pins holding the cowl bezel down indicated by red arrows.
- I would be carefull with the foam in place on this bezel its probly glued and will need reused or replaced.
- Shown in the blu circles, this keeps water out of the cabin area.

- Next remove the cowl cover, should look like this.

- Disconnect the wire plug connector listed as "A" in Red.
- Remove Motor & linkage assy bolts, "B" in yello,
then pull out the motor & assy.
- Here is a picture of the motor and linkage assy removed.

(Thier are two parts, the motor and the linkage/transmission)
- Install in reverse procedure.

Part #'s you may need.....
- Wiper Motor - 99-03 GM# 12365366
- Transmission(& linkage) - 99-03 GM#12363332

Good Luck
