Headlamp burned out again

Parents own a '98 Concorde and last summer they needed a low and a high beam lamp replaced. They were also not happy with the brightness of the lamps. I bought some Sylvania "superbright something or other" lamps to put in.

Of course I had no idea that it was such an enormous pain in the ass just to replace bulbs in these cars! I don't have loads of time to spare and in the end we had a local dealer install them at great expense.

Now one low beam is out already. They are not about to spend another large wad of cash to go through this again in another year or two.

Can someone here give instructions on how to do this job. Is there an easier way. Are there any workarounds?
