Why oh why??

Why do people register and post on AF claiming to own cars that they clearly don’t? Why would anyone do this??? I just don’t get it.

I admit I hate it when people do it, but it is hard to stop it from happening.

I honestly don't care anymore.

If they don't own the car, we end up usually finding out anyway and busting them. just like that last guy with the mustang.

If they want to fake, let them, if they can't be honest they aren worth it.

I can see your point, but it just gets really frustrating when you are trying to answer someones honest question about a car and these people jump in saying they own this and that and it does this and that. And they do it over and over and over and don't even quit once they've been found out. It's just bizarre!

What I don't understand is why you'd want to impress people you don't know. I mean, we don't care what you drive here, so why pretend??? :o

You would be correct Mr Moss.

Its sad that they have to lie to make themselves feel better.

Now I think I'll jump in my XJ220 to pick up my F50 so I can cuise down to the Michigan Speedway to take a few laps in the Blue F1 - the Silver one is on display with the GT40 I picked up last week.

Exactly.

And Moss it’s some guy who’s saying he owns an R34 GTR V-Spec II N1, a 400R and an EVO 7 (that he uses for drifting ).
