Code P0582 where to look?

Hi, new to the forum. Have a '97 jetta, 2.0 engine ABA, automatic w/code P0582 where should I start checking also, is there a way to turn off the red airbag light on the dash w/o going to dealer? Any help will do.

No way to turn the airbag light off without going to the dealer. You can remove the bulb for the airbag though. Code p0528.?

Hi, veedub, code P0582 "Cruise Control Vacuum control circuit/open" where is the cruise control unit on the car?

Yes, check the fuses on the pannel above your feet. Also its a common issue where the vacuum lines for the cruise crack. Check the vacuum lines from the throttle body and follow them over to the driver side fender.
