GP GTP 3.8L 3800 Sopercharged Series III ??

Want to put a 3.8L 3800 Series III supercharged motor in a street rod. The GM Performance parts sells this as a crate motor. Says it would work great in a street rod or kit car. It does not say what rear wheel drive trany will bolt up to it. Will the trany from 3.8 V6 97-02 Firebird/Camaro work? Any help???

I'm not for sure but I think it wouldnt work so well. The GTP has alot more power and torque. If it would work I bet it wouldnt be long before you would need a new one.....
