ATF Change

Hi Guys,

Do any of you have any experience on what is a good quality of ATF fluid for my 2001 Accord EX. I am looking to change it this weekend (OEM Honda, Mobile One, and AimsOil). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: ATF Change

Honda sez to use their fluid but just about any major brand fluid is good. Thre important thing is to change it according to schedule because changing the fluid is not changing all the fluid but only that which is in the transmission case. Also look at the color of the fluid, it should be red at all times. If it is black you waited too long or you are having some clutch burning problems, a prelude to forthcoming problems.
