Fuse Box

I think I have found the fuse box near the brake pedal, it has the colored boxes that look like buttons correct? Anyway my real question is where is the diagonstic connector? So that I can hook up my multimeter and find out whats wrong with my tranny. I think I found it, I found one of those plastic caps just hanging down there that matched up with the DSM diagram but I am not 100 percent sure. One more question, I have been reading a lot on the "N/A Bible" by Yogurt on 3si and I was just wondering if all those horsepower gains and 1/4 times are correct, just based off of your personal knowledge and experience is enough, thanks.

Re: Fuse Box

yes, the diagnostic connector is to the right of the fuse box

the TCU codes can be found here.

as for the NA upgrade bible, i haven't looked at it in a while, but i'm pretty sure those hp and ET estimates are accurate.

Re: Fuse Box

The diagnostic connector is right next to the fise box on 1g's. However on 94-99 the connector is above your right knee if you are sitting in the seat.

Re: Fuse Box

alright thanks, yeah i was using that DSM link as a guide but it wasnt exactly the same on my car, my port was hanging, not attached to anything, it had wires and was held together further above with electrical tape bunched together with the other groups of wires. thanks

Re: Fuse Box

On my Talon I went to pull codes the one day and couldnt find the diagnostic port. I was like WTF.... after massive searching I finally found it tucked behind the fuse box. Why it was pulled off I dunno. It just slides onto the fuse box and locks in place.

Re: Fuse Box

Any times, hp gains etc, are always just estimates. Alot depends on how your car is running, and how you are as a driver.

Re: Fuse Box

Well considering im ATX, most of the shifting is done by the car . Anyway I pulled out the code today, 61. Torque Reduction signal line, this makes sense since Mr. Transmission pulled out codes from the ECU and got one that read: 61 ELC-4AT (torque reduction). Thanks for the help, kudos to linebckr49 for always replying to my posts.
