Mario's 93 Lola

Built from Tamiya's snap together 1/20th scale kit. Paint is Krylon White and Black. Lower front monocoque was molded in and suspension arms re-attached. All snap together tabs were removed and holes filled in. A word of warning to anybody building these kits, do what ever you need to make the rear view mirrors removable to remove the body work when displaying engine and chassis. It's about impossible with them in place. I made them fit tight in their sqare mounting holes and used a product from Microscale called Micro Liquitape that's used to temporarily hold parts together so I can remove and re-attach as necessary.

Man that looks absolutely fantastic! Another one of your trademark clean and precise builds. It is also great to see Mario's car instead of Nigel's for a change.

Re: Mario's 93 Lola

Great,

another fantastic example, that clean building makes a good model without etched parts etc.

Re: Mario's 93 Lola

Thanks for all the compliments. Although nobody noticed the missing tti on Mario's name. I have since repaired the missing letters. It probably chipped off while polishing.

Can't believe what you have done with a snap tight kit. Fab work.
