synthetic oil and lubs

I have a 1989 dodge ram 50 4x4 pickup it has a 4 cylinder 2.6 motor i was thinking of using royal purple synthetics lubes. The truck has 172,000 miles will it make a difference if i use a synthetic or not what is your suggestion? thank you Dan

Keep using whatever you were using. I wouldn't change it over now.
