What is my car worth?

I was thinking of selling my car this summer. Its a 97 GT, has 60,000 miles on it. The only problems it really has is the condenser for AC which im gonna get fixed, along with a slight oil drip. It is in very good condition. Leather interior, HUD, heated drivers seat, CD player, trip computer. I got new shocks and struts for rear. New rotors and break pads front and back. New intake manifold, new radiator, new water pump, new catalytic converter, blower resistor problem fixed, fairly new tires, flushed coolant several times, new condenser and charge and have records for it all. She runs fine without any trouble. What do you think I should list it as if i do decide to sell?

that's just nuts. the Kelly Blue Book lists a range of from $3,600 to $4,485 for a private party seller. Check it out at kbb.com

Re: What is my car worth?

if the car is in as good a shape as he says, he wouldnt have any trouble getting above KBB.

Re: What is my car worth?

I think 7 grand is way over the top. I paid that much for my 98 GTP with about the same mileage and I think I could have gotten it a little lower but I wanted it real bad.....

Re: What is my car worth?

If it's a California car, no rust, no dings, new tires and looks like new $4000-4750. Any blemishes, $3500-4225.
Wholesale, be lucky to get $1750 for it.
What might help is to head over to eBay and research on the cars that were bought on the website to get a reality check as to what the market will possibly bear.
Good luck!

KBB takes into account the condition and mileage, if it's as good as he says the average selling price is on the high side. $4,485

I got my 96 for $1500. Ebay is not a good resource for selling prices in your area. KBB goes by national numbers adjusted for zip code.
