Whats the best thing to do to a 2000 dodge neon to get a little more accerlation from. with out spending 3000 bucks on a turbo?

You can do the usual CAI, UDP, header and exhaust.

If you have an auto, then you may have to live with the slow acceleration.

Dont forget about the tweaking the head. There's a lot of hp in the head. Also cam and aftermarket ignition system

well i know alot of auto that have more acc than my does i have the cai but thanks for all the suggestions

yes i know a few but i dont know them personally like to where they will tell me what they did there not that nice

Get the basics and then remove the power steering and A/C stuff for free weight reduction.

I wish i could remove that stuff but i cant because it would take me out of sts and into sms and i dont have that much power but thanks for your advice

I can had thing i just cant remove anything that comes stock on there like the seat belts but i think i might have to remove things and goahead and go to sms (sts=street touring stock sms street modified on street tires) But i dont know
