i just bought my 1997 plymouth breeze and i took the tires off to check the brake pads in the front and the front left rim is rubbing the brake caliper and eating it away.. does anyone know what would cause that and now a way to fix it without spending to much money?

Re: need massive help
is it rubing on the caliper or the pad shims. if not it could be many things, ball joint, bent or broke parts. does the tire lean w/ weight on it?

Re: need massive help
can you wiggle the tire or is it tight? if it does wiggle is it side to side or top to bottom?

Re: need massive help
i didnt try wiggling it yet.. i had to put it all back together cause it started storming and i dont have a place inside my dads shop for the car so.. ill check it tomorrow and see. the girl i bought it from didnt take car of it. and took it down a mud trail "mudding". but other than the wheel and cat converter being off it runs fine.. a little rough sometimes and the tires are off balance
