I smell coolant
Hi Guys -
I have recently begun to smell coolant inside the cabin of my GP. I have a 2000 GP 3800 II with 120,000 miles on it. I do not see a leak and do not get an coolant low indicater light. I'm thinking heater core but would value any opinions you may have. |

Re: I smell coolant
My mom just got rid of a 95 Grand prix and coolant was leaking.
Did you check the level of coolant? If you havent, check it to make sure it hasnt leaked.

Re: I smell coolant
Upon further inspection, I did see a little trickle of coolant where your left foot would be on the passanger side.

Re: I smell coolant
I believe I can get to it if I remove the two insulator panels, the center console and the lower steering column cover. I know it's a pain to do but I'll make it a weekend job (I have more time than money).
If anyone out these has done this before I would sure appreciate any tips you may have. |
