Last race of the season

Nice one. I liked it a lot. But then again, I'm a Ferrari and MS fan. Anyway:

Ferrari: a great performance once again. Nothing more to say.

Williams: Montoya seemed out of place somehow, and if it hadn't been for the others' mechanical gremlins, 6th is as much as he could have hoped for. Ralf - he was having a nice race and too bad the motor went boom.

McLaren. Nothing special. For a change, it was DC that had a mechanical problem.

BAR - mechanical problems again. Not sure what happened to Panis, but JV's KaboomDA went bust.

Jordan. Again, one of the KamoomDAs went to pieces. Good stuff with Sato - 5th place in front of the home crowd. But really, I've officially seen too much of Sato this weekend!!!

The rest - I don't really remember the rest.

Bridgestone: that's the way to do it in your 100th GP on your home soil. Haha. :hehe:

Feel free to add (if anyone cares to)

My season review will follow in a couple of days (hopefully).

Alex

Suzuka was a pretty nice race, the track, like Spa, is awesome and even when there isnt so much overtaking the cars look awesome flying around such a track... .

as for the race itself:

Michael Schumacher is basically a living legend. Awesome in qualifying where he blew Rubens (and everyone else) away, he did the same (and even more) in the race.

Rubens was OK, really he was pulverised along with everyone else by Michael and Ferrari. It showed the real speed of the Ferrari drivers when Michael is motivated to race hard, not just turning up to collect another win (5 wins and 5 poles at Suzuka!! unbelievable)

Ralf Schumacher was very unlucky, podium position with 4 laps to go when his engine let go.. shame to finish the season on such a note

Coulthard was having a pretty good race, was also unlucky to retire.

Montoya was absolutely nowhere, outqualified by Ralf and beaten soundly by pretty much everyone in the race.

Sato raced extremely well, those 2 points make such a big difference in terms of $$$$$$ for Jordan and I for one am glad they finished the season on a high...

as for the rest, no one really worth mentioning, oh yeah, Button had a good race, again showing up Trulli in the race; Renault are idiots to be letting the faster driver go (Button) because the other driver (Trulli) is managed by the team boss... oh well, lets hope "Jense" has a good future at British American Racing.

Thats basically it, another season which i enjoyed (cos like u ales im a MS & Ferrari fan, not a glory hunter cos i was with them when they werent winning ), but overall i admit it could have been better

lets hope Ralf, Juan, DC and Kimi put a little more pressure on Michael next year

over and out
