Headliner

I was curious if i took off my headliner in my camaro if it would make a difference in my sound from a single 12 inch sub and 600 watt amp, would it still sound ok or would it be messed up

I would leave it on, I think a bare roof lets the sounds reverberate or something like that, hence why some pepole use sound deadener like dynamat in their trunk and doors. Unless your setting it up as a racing car, you will probly want to leave the carpet and headliner etc in the vehicle. I'm sure others will give you a little more input on this...

you probably wouldn't notice much if you aren't an sq guy. it would cause some more reflections inside the vehicle, but not a whole lot. it wouldn't make a big difference.

I would remove the headliner only to glass it, maybe add a monitor and deaden the roof.
