Question 89' Camaro Problems Help NEEDED

Aight I am new so bare with me on this guys. I have an 1989 Camaro RS. The engine is out of a 91 camaro rs I think. At any case its the same motor as the 89 model. Anway I bought it and it ran great for about 6 months. About a month ago my brother was driving it and it started back firing until it finally just shut off. Wouldn't start back so we towed it back in and had it worked on. They put new timing chain or belt on it, tried new chips, egr valves or whatever they are and also replace other parts on the fuel injection. SO we drove it home after we thought it was fixed again it started the same thing again. Now its getting too much gas and its soaking the spark plugs. If you let it set for a couple of days and let the plugs dry it will start up until they get soaked again. My question is do any of you know whats wrong is something still wrong with the fuel injection, or the computer, a chip or whatever. Please help guys I miss my camaro lol. Thanks Lee

camaro problem

it could be that when they redid the fuel injection that they hooked one up wrong that would cause the computer to malfunction and just the the fuel injectors to stay open all the time which would explain the flooding.
or it could be that the spark plugs arent dilevering encough spark to burn all the gas or something along theat line. lemme know about the results.
