94 grand am tail lights
So I'm having the same problem as this car. If I turn on my headlights my dash and taillights dont turn on. I have break lights and my hazards work. I recently took my dash apart because it wasnt working. Cleaned all the contacts and put it back together and it worked for some weeks.
Is this problem related to my dash lights or is it something completely different? I have no CEL lights except for ABS. Does anyone think replacing the dash with a new unit would fix the problem or should I try to replace the tail light wiring harness? thanks in advance.

Re: 94 grand am tail lights
it is probly a shorted tail light due to water leaking into it.
Have you taken them apart to look and see ?

Re: 94 grand am tail lights
No. I was thinking about doing that but I wasn't sure as what to look for except for the usual corrosion and rust.
