No tail lights.

I have an 03 Avalanche with no tail lights on the right side when the head light swith is turned on.
Also when the 4way hazard lights are on the tail lights dont flash.
Brake, right turn and bulbs are all ok and working properly.
I'm leaning towards the light switch being the problem .
Does anyone have any suggestions what to look for or how to trouble shoot.

Thanks

Re: No tail lights.

check your fuse in the engine compartment first, they sometimes blow especially if you have used a trailer with questionable wiring.

Re: No tail lights.

Since there are two elements in the rear bulbs, I need to know which elements are not lighting up. When the dimmer element lights, that is the tail light. The brighter element is refered to as the stop and turn element. I am assuming you are talking about the tail light element is not lighting, but the stop/turn element is lighting up ok. The hazard lights make the stop/turn element light up. There is a dedicated right tail light fuse in the underhood fuse block. It is labeled "RR Park", it is a 10 amp fuse and is red in color. If this fuse blows again you need to check for a short. Is anything attached to the right tail light circuitry?
