Gotta love those replies?!?!?!?!!?

Looks interesting. Blender is a tricky app some times. You might want to widen the front track width. It looks a bit to narrow for the rears to follow. Cool idea though. You guys doing 100% scratch then?! Whatya going to name it?

Re: Scratch Building: Open Wheeler

Well, first yes i did relize after posting this it was in the wrong area
second, its 3ds max.
thirdly, no its not 100% scratch built, dont have the time, money, or tools to do it. The chasis, body, are defently going to be scratch built, but the motor, and wheels are going to be from either a combo of different models or a mix of pre made and modified. ie the wheels i have are f1 mini-z wheels
the engine will be either a modified viper block or a benz c9 lemans modified motor.
ok, thats all i got for now.
thanks guys

Laminar styrene. You can make either a rotor or a caliper by stacking cross-sectional patterns.

Re: Scratch Building: Open Wheeler

I've split the posts debating the definition of scratch built to a new thread so this one stays on track. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=692183

Styrene sheet, with styrene strips between the two parts for vented rotors.
