Import a car

Hi all,

i just bought a car from Benzworld a singapore exporter that deals with used cars, they export the cars to all different countries.

i have never seen a website that is so detailed and it tells you the entire procedures of importing a car into your country.

their prices are reasonable too and they even provide shipping services.

so if you are thinking of buying a used mercedes, BMW or any other cars, do feel free to pop by www.benzworld.com.sg

regards,
darren

Re: Import a car

Aside from not liking your spam, Singapore is about the worst country to import cars from. 5 years in that kind of heat and humidity pretty much renders the Electrics worthless.

Re: Import a car

Well, apart from the heat, at least we don't have winter which causes the undercarriage to rust and i don't think you actually know how much singapore cars are in demand nowadays.

darren

Re: Import a car

I'm from New Zealand, we get a LOT of Singaporean imports, most are European models along the lines of Volvos, Mercs, BMWs, Peugeots Audis etc. Rusting is not an issue with these cars in the first place. A lot of the cars are nice, but it's not worth the hassle that they bring.

The amount of times I've seen a very late model European car with completely bunged electronics due to the wiring being exposed to constant heat/humidity and rubber comonents (Bushes, seals etc) completely eaten away, only to find (Completely not to my surprise) that it's from Singapore is insane. It's becoming somewhat common knowledge to avoid Sinaporean imports and go for a car bought new in New Zealand or a Japanese Import.
