92 grand prix seat belt locked in place...help...

hello,
I don't know very much about cars but everything i do know has nothing to do with this. The seat belt on my 92 Grand Prix is locked in place in my door i have tried to pull it out and it won't move. I'm wondering if there is an easy explination as to why this is happening or if i have to take the whole door panel apart. I wonder if there is any way to fix it myself or if i am going to have to send the car in to get fixed by a professional....
Someone please help me!
