03 Blazer keless entry problems

I just bought an 03 Blazer about 3 weeks ago. The keyless entry worked fine until now. I tried changing the battery on the remote, and I also tried re- progaming the transmitter by following the instructions on a link I found on this site. Even though everthing happened in the same manner that the programing instructions said it would, my keyless entry still doesnt work. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 03 Blazer keless entry problems

Pop open the remote and make sure your battery is facing the correct direction as far as + and - go.

When changing batteries on those types of remotes, you simply have to hold LOCK and UNLOCK for 7 seconds to resynchronize the remote to the vehicle.
