Re: Dual Exaust

I would just get a single exhaust if you ask me. A prelude didnt come with Duals so i wouldnt. I like to keep my car clean looking, now if you are into the whole body kit, aggressive type styling then duals probably would look nice. my buddy has a 02 Intreped asd it came with single exhaust and he got duals for it. he had to cut away an area on his bumped so the tips would be level. looks ok, but the cut is what makes it look kinda funny. A kit would have dual exhaust spots so...your choice.

Oh btw, i smoked his intreped 2x with my H23 befor i swapped into my new H22 JDM, he dont wanna race me in his car he wants to race on his Ninja! Ha!

Re: Dual Exaust

I just have a F22A1 under the hood. but im looking in next 4 years going to put a H22 or H23 witch one has more horse power and upgrade possibilities.

Oh yeah FYI.. Putting duals on a car that didnt come with them can bog our system down.. looks cool but you loose HP

Just thought you aught to know.

Re: Dual Exaust

I just swapped out my old blown h23a1 for a jdm h22a. It is SURELY a whole different car now. More power (+40) and now VTEC!!

By just reading up in forums here and there i have learned that an h23 is better to boost being that the block is beefier, but an h22 stock has more power and VTEC than the h23 stock. Correct me if i'm wrong but the h23a1 has 160hp and the h22a1 is at 190hp. the JDM h22a puts out 200hp. i dont have any clue what the JDM h23 puts out. I know there is a blue top VTEC h23 from the JDM Accord Wagons as well but was told that it is still only 160hp, just VTEC.

If i were you i'd forget about 4 years and get an engine sooner. If i saved for 4 years then MAYBE (I hope) i could get myself somehow into an earlier model NSX, whenever they come down from 20K!!!!
