has anyone had or heard of this problem with their 3000gt? when i maintain speed, the car jerks violently back and forth. it comes and goes. sometimes during the same drive. it was kicking a code for the tps, so i replaced it, but that didnt help.

moved to the proper place.
Now in what way does it jerk. Does the steering wheel jerk to the side. Does the car start hesitating and going on and off in a forward jerking motion. We need alot more info. Have you checked the alignment or any of the suspension components? Did you hit anything liek a curb, pothole, deer, etc? More info.

I have this problem too with my 1991 3000GT VR-4, but stops on heavey accelleration, I use a can of preston fuel injection cleaner and octan booster and it goes away. I only get the problem now if I stop using the preston for a while.

Sounds like a fuel filter needs replacement.
