passenger cam tower plug
Remember how I had a pretty easy time pulling the driver's side? Well, I got started on the passenger side...2 hours ago! The heater hoses make it tighter, and the old seal is sticking pretty good. The heater hose bracket needed to be removed, too. I just keep picking away at the top lip and I'm hoping it'll eventually pop out. It's hard to believe it was even leaking the way it doesn't want to give it up. Back at it after dinner.

Re: passenger cam tower plug
I'll have to finish tomorrow. That plug is seated in there pretty good. I'll just have to keep picking at it. I wish I could get a screw started in it, but it's just too tight.

Re: passenger cam tower plug
Happy Easter. I may be wishing you Happy Memorial Day, too, before this thread is done... Not out yet.

Re: passenger cam tower plug
Ahhhhhhh. Time for some Easter bunny carrot cake! Finally back together and leak free. The other side wasn't seated as deep. This plug was right up against the back of the cam. Probably why the driver's side leaked like a sieve.
