Hello , I have a 'stalling' problem with my minivan 3,3L when driving, it never stops but when I push the gas it doesn`t increase speed and makes a "sharp explosion noise" inside the engine wich I guess is overfeeding with fuel or the spark plugs not working right. This happens only sometimes mostly around 45-50 miles/hour
but low speeds also. Where is the fuel filter located on this car and what can I do before I spend a fortune at a mechanic? Thanks in advance ! |

Re: 99 Plymouth Grand Voyager stalls
"Sharp explosion noise" sounds like it's backfiring. Check the timing or suspect the timing chain has jumped. I wouldn't look for a fuel problem just yet.

Re: 99 Plymouth Grand Voyager stalls
That could also been the mixture too lean. What kind of codes do you get?
