i don't see the practicality of either one for street use. just something else to drink more gas and block my view. all SUV's should be banned from public roads.

I dont mind normal SUV's so much, I love the X5 in particular, but these hummers are a joke, a symbol of fat, vulgar, excess. Very tasteless indeed :apuke:

Hey if the H2 wasn't designed for military use, it's just a GM gimmick car like all the others. I say that because I used to be a Humvee mechanic in the Army. BTW, the Civy Hummers suck. They are dogisht compared to the military ones.

You can buy used Humvees, but not directly from the US Government. There are a few select places around the country that sell them, and they do not sell for cheap. If interested look in DuPont Registry or just search on the net for Humvee sales, etc.
