Speedometer

My digital speedometer is WAY off. At 20 MPH, it reads 68 MPH. I,ve replaced the speed sensor in the transfer case, and this didn,t solve the problem.
Does anyone have any wisdom in this matter? I would appreciate your help, and thank you in advance.
