Realistically...
So, if I were to get all MMS stage 2 stuff, S&S headers w/ high flo cat on top of what I have now, how many seconds do you think that will cut me down by? Namely, what do you think my 1/4 mi and 0-60 would be? Again, approximately. I would guess low 14's? Maybe if I got their stage 3 stuff when it comes out, high 13's? Thanks

Re: Realistically...
Its realy hard to just guestamate those things.
Right now my GT stock runs 108-110mph in a 1/4mile, not sure on time though... My SE is quicker/faster if I can keep traction with cold street tires. Tonight I got in the mid 13's , the cold weather. ![]() I'm not sure how fast as the speedometer only goes to 120mph. The problems that you will have with the stage II alone would be your trans flopping out on you. Stage III is wasteful for street use. You will be lucky if you get 18mpg with the stg II, stg III might fall down to 12-15mpg. ![]() Gas went up 35 cents overnight up here

Re: Realistically...
Yeah I got gas last night at 2.58, woke up this morning and it was 2.85. Fookin crazy!
I'll just have to drive conservatively when I get that stuff done Maybe I can get stage 2 stuff and later on I can have it modded to stage 3 if I ever get insanely serious about making it an ULTIMATE sleeper.Quote:

Re: Realistically...
One other thing that you would want to get is the upper & lower PP intakes
![]() With out those, your stg II upgrade will suffer because it cant draw in enough air.

![]() Dude... I just found this online: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-04...spagenameZWDVW Does that look for real? That looks too good to be true, which is why I'm skeptical. A turbo kit for only 800 bucks for a grand am?! I'll buy that in a heartbeat if it looks legit...

Re: Realistically...
If you ask me $800 is too much!
That kit was posted in one of no_imports threads or I posted it somewhere ![]() But! It does not come with the turbo headers and thats something that needs to be perfect. And looking at the tubing in that picture you would have to fit it in and cut the pipes , which can be a pita! Especialy if you make a mistake and cut the wrong tube. A lot of work goes into them, that's why the other "true" turbo kits that fit the GA is so expensive.
