1996 Corsica Heating System

Changed Heater Core and thermostat , and now I do not have any heat. What could be the problem?

First thing to check for is ANY vacuum leaks, both unde the hood, and under the dash. The controls are vacuum controlled and any leak will keep your system from opening the doors etc. There is an actuator under the dash you might check for loose hoses and all hoses in engine compartment need to be checked.

IF your car has the 3.1 v-6, you need to bleed the cooling system of air if you didn't do it after changing those parts.

My Corsica had a broken vacuum line up by the battery. I replaced part of it and rerouted it around the battery to keep it away from the acid. Mine was heating some of the time but the upper and lower heat controls wouldn't work, all the air would come out the bottom.
