Question no fuel

i just bought a 87 full size blazer with 350 throttlebody any way it is not getting fuel the pump is not coming on,i replaced pump replaced relay,checked for power, getting power all the way to the sending unit when inside the tank down near the bottom of sending unit im losing power the test light is very dim when i check there. i think its not gettingh enough power to turn on the pump i need help???

Question

Test your theory.....

Run a wire. Straight from the battery to your fuel pump.
You should use an inline fuse too just in case.
You don't want to short something out.
With the fuel pump running try starting up the car.
Does the engine run fine now?
If it does then you must have a short somewhere in the wire to your fuel pump. Loose Connector , backed out terminal, bad connector, or a bad wire.
