D16Z6 92 civic motor into CRX?

Is it true that the D16z6's intake manifold doesn't match my throttle cable and stuff, and that i'll have to use my intake manifold? and also, which axles/ecu would work best with the D16z6 92 civic si motor?

I dont believe that there is a problem in using the z6 manifold. Although there is no harm in using the stock one. My d15b is using the stock manifold without problems. you can use your stock axles, and go with a p28 ecu.

ZC sohc non-vtec or vtec? If it's the ZC sohc vtec it's about the same as a d16z6. If it's the non-vtec it's about the same as a d16a6 (maybe 2hp more). If it's a ZC dohc head it won't fit a sohc block. If it's a ZC dohc long block it'll swap in and mate to a d tranny.

Re: D16Z6 92 civic motor into CRX?

lol what the f are u talking about??? my bad i wasnt clear before... i have 2 options - option A: spend 425 dollars on a DOHC ZC non-vtec 130-135hp block, just the the block (which bolts up to my tranny) or option B: spend around 300 dollars on a whole 92 bubble back civic si vtec motor with tranny. i didn't mean to say "ZC head" i meant block... i was a little hammered last night... hahaha
