Unhappy 96 Lumina Apv Caught Fire

My 96 Lumina Caught Fire In My Driveway. The Fire Dept. Said It Was Electrical. I Have Been Taking It Apart And Believe That The Fire Started In The Rear Near The Aux. Plug. Has Anyone Heard Of A Recall On This???

Does it have an electronic load leveller? IF so there are plenty of circuitry around that plug .
I have a '93 and have received all recalls or safety alerts and this issue was not one of them.

No it does not have a load leveler. The back cargo area has a aux plug. this was corroded very bad and this is what "I" think the short happened. I will find out more today. I will be taking the Lumina to my mechanic and he will be able to tell me if Iam right..
