2000 LS V8 Problems
My 2000 LS V8 has been losing power when accelerating and rough at idle. Will it cause much damage by driving it under these conditions and has anyone had their vehicle totally stop running? I was told that #3 cylinder had misfired. I changed the spark plugs and that only helped for a short time.
Does anyone know a long term fix??? And how much did it cost??

Welcome to the forum!
The misfire on your 2000 LS is a well understood issue with the 2000 and 2001 model year. Search this forum for "valve cover gasket" to find the cause and cure. There is an updated gasket set for the early model years. Replacing spark plugs and coils will be a short term fix if you don't first replace the valve cover gaskets. -Rod
