Sorry Jeep

Sorry about the mixup Jeepgclwj. It's just that when it seemed you were upset about not getting a response after a day and then you said "you know how Mustang guys are". I think you can see how that would be taken the wrong way, if not before, I'm sure you see it now. Just don't get so upset if you don't get anyone on as quick as you would like, sometimes it takes awhile. But, if you go back and read it again, I think you can see why Frito and I took it the wrong way. If you really were not trying to start something then again, I am sorry for my response.

No problem. Maybe we all got wound up a little tight. I hate to tell you but I plan on replacing (because of a wreck)a daily driver (kid hauler, winter car) Taurus with a GT or GTP.

Yes, the SVO is a collectable and can be made pretty quick with all the basic mods. I'm not really into turbos that much so I can't direct you to any sites or anything but, I know they are out there. Sorry again.....see, us Mustang guys aren't that bad. I would put some kind of stupid smiley face here but I don't know how. Everytime I do it just goes to the top of my message instead of where I want it. Good luck on finding the info.

There are several good SVO and 2.3T forums out there. I just cant remember the names of any off the top of my head. You should be able to pull them up with google though. For a wealth of turbo knowledge and tunning turbo cars whether they be fuel injected or carburated check out www.turbomustangs.com . Just go there and start searching. There is tons of tech info in the TM archives.

I wont be fu**ing anything anytime soon. The coughing from a bad case of bronchitis has resulted in a hernia.. No boom-boom for me......

I'm sure there are plenty of di**heads that drive Mustangs but I would bet there are as many GTP di**heads as well.....Me , I am a car lover. All kinds, and Mustangs happen to be one of my favorites.

Until the next time.....or I might just hang out in here for a while...See if I can persuade giddyup50 to get that GTP as a d.d......Might not ever go back Ford again....j/k....but for real though, cheap factory forced induction...

You might wanna get one before the Honda guys figure out what a GTP is and take over control....

Re: Sorry Jeep

I've changed my mind again, I'm not thinking of getting another Taurus or a GP for a daily driver. I've decided to go with a car that's way better in the snow and better for getting kids in and out of the back.....Fox body Mustang 5.0. Yeah, right!!! I've decided, instead of 4-5 grand on a decent 2nd family car, I could just spend probably alittle less and still find a decent 5.0. Yeah, the winter would suck but, I can just get another set of rims (10 holes or 5-stars) and put some good snow or aggressive truck tires on it, some weight in the back and be just fine. I only drive intown anyway, any highway driving and we take my wife's car.

Re: Sorry Jeep

Foxbody FTW!!! You can just get some of those chains for you tires......The thing I like about FWD in the snow is you can kinda drive it like a RWD...Sideways with plenty of doughnuts....
