I have a 2002 Explorer Sport, and the other day my vehical was stolen and recovered. The aftermarket radio I had was stolen, same with my amp and system. Now ever since then, my dashboard gauges, HVAC, and radio lights wont light up. The display for the radio station works, but it wont light up for night time. Any ideas?

You might want to check fuse 30 (a 15 amp fuse in the side of the dash driver's side)
If that is good, then depending on the options, you either have a faulty park lamp relay, a bad dimmer switch, a broken wire, or a bad ground. If you are handy with a voltmeter, let me know and I will try to guide you through it. Good luck Fordman

Re: Gauges arent lighting up....
when they stole the radio they probably damaged wires. check the wires going to the radio.

Re: Gauges arent lighting up....
Would a fuse possibly be the problem with the light for my gas gauge just going out on my? I know when a light bulb burns out it happens when the light goes on- with the gas gauge the light just died out while I was at a stop light.
