Dash Panel Vent Removal

I just bought a 2001 and looks like a soda has gotten into the vent direction controls. I would like to remove these and clean them. What is the best way to remove? Does the entire dash have to come out? Thanks

Re: Dash Panel Vent Removal

Are you talking about the vent knobs that turns the heat up and down, fan etc ?

If so they just pull off.

Re: Dash Panel Vent Removal

I'm talking about where the air comes out of the dash. The fins that move up & down and side to side are sticky until they heat up from the hot air while using the heater. Thanks
