amp quality

I am pretty knowlegable about car audio, and I try to stick with namebrand stuff i.e. infinity, mtx. but I am looking for an inexpensive amp to power an infinity 6.5 inch component set, about 100 wats per channel. I have been looking at parts express and have seen amps for 50-100 dollars that will work. does anyone have any comments about these. the brands i have seen are lanzar, pyle, pyramyd, and ma audio. I don't want to buy a chunk because I am a sound quality nut and want the best sounding system I can afford.

thanks

Re: amp quality

many people seem to like profile as a budget SQ amp. You can do something like that or save up and get something a little better.

Re: amp quality

I wouldnt pay that much for a an amp based on brand. Infinity makes decent amps, but you will get the same benefits from profile at a fraction of the cost.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.
