Will 22's fit a 3rd generation Camaro, with out modifyin Suspension?

I am thinkin throw some 20 + inch chrome Iroc rims on my 92 camaro, because my Camaro currently sits on some scuffed up bullshit 1984 Z28 wheels , i hate my 15by7 wheels they are too small. I wona throw some big wheels on my ride, i found some 22" Irocs for a good price, so will it fit my Camaro or it will rub on my wheel wells, and will it thorow my speedometer reading off? Or should i just stay with 20's?

Anything over 18" is will be one heck of a rough ride, and just won't look right. Big rims belong on ghetto SUV's, and tricked out imports.. not muscle cars.

Now some 16x8 Torque Thrust II's would look great

18" wheels are big. 22" wheels only look good when they're made from aluminium and are on commercial vehicles.

an 18" wheel with 2-3" of tyre profile will fill the arches more than you need, and they'll give a decently bumpy ride. it'd go with 16-17" wheels for a 3rd gen.

I would be very open to the fact of your suspension when changing wheel and tires up on early to mid 80's GMs. Most have a modiifed McPherson system which is a traditional short long arm set up crossbred with a strut and no upper control arm.

Changes to the wheel size and tire profile dramatically change the how the rest of the system react to the road. Example, I had Goodyear Eagle ST's on my first Camaro with aluminum rims an dth eride was pretty bad, very hard.
